Jazmine Speaks
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."
— Jeremiah 29:11
Throughout my years in ministry, I’ve learned a critical lesson: trusting God during seasons of waiting is essential to fulfilling your purpose. It’s easy to get frustrated when it feels like you’re not moving forward, but I’ve discovered that in the waiting, God is working on something much bigger than we can see.
Waiting is not a time of inactivity; it’s a season where God is preparing us for what’s to come. It’s in this space of trust and surrender that purpose is birthed. The Holy Spirit often reveals deeper insights into His plans for us during these moments, reminding us that there is purpose even in the storm.
Storms are not just challenges; they are opportunities. God uses the storms of life to shape us, to refine us, and to prepare us to help others. Just like He has walked me through difficult times to show me His faithfulness, He is also preparing you to overcome and help others who are facing similar struggles. You may not see it now, but your storm is part of your divine destiny.
Trust that God's plans for your life are good. He will never leave you in the waiting or in the storm without purpose. You are being equipped to become a vessel of hope, healing, and strength for someone else in their time of need.
